PRE-TEAM Gymnastics Ages 4.5-7 yrs - Pre-Approval NeededGymnasticsBig Lake Pre-Team June-Aug, 2026 ""Please contact Amy or Lanny at: cegymnastics@biglakeschools.org"" This group is for ages 4.5-7 and is invite only based on coaches recommendation. Recommendations are based on continued participation in Community Ed classes, love for gymnastics, strength, flexibility, skill level and need for a challenge and commitment beyond their current class. We invite children to participate on the pre-team for a predetermined time frame based on the time of year. At the close of that time frame we recommend whether the student should continue on pre-team, move to a community education class or on to the Xcel competition team. A credit card will be saved on file for monthly fee of $69, or you may choose to pay in full $207 - June 1, July 1 and Aug 1. Pre-Team will practice on Mondays 5:30-7pm. Pickleball Fundamentals 101 with Nitty Gritty PickleballAdult RecreationNEW! Ages 16+ Intro to Pickleball is a pre-requisite for this class. In this 2 hr. class, beginners will have the opportunity to continue to learn basic fundamentals of pickleball - proper grip and stroke techniques for serves, returns, volleys, dinks and footwork. Tennis CampRecreationTake your tennis game to the next level this summer! This week-long Tennis Camp provides focused training for boys and girls of all skill levels, from beginner to advanced. Players will develop stroke technique, footwork, and match strategy through structured drills and competitive play. Players in Grades 3–5 will focus on building strong tennis fundamentals, while players in Grades 6–12 will participate in drills/games Monday through Wednesday, followed by match play on Thursdays to help transfer skills into real match situations. Track and Field CampRecreationThis 4-day summer camp will introduce young athletes to the world of Track and Field! Students will learn proper warm-up and stretches, running technique, breathing, and participate in various track and field events (short sprints, longer paced runs, vertical and horizontal jumps, and throws).
