BACK BY POPULAR DEMAND! Join us for the third season of Big Lake Archery Club! Archers come together to share in their love for archery in a fun, confidence building, and team focused environment taught by certified NASP BAI coaches. Kids of all skill levels are welcome and encouraged to join the team with newcomers to the sport needing to attend the Intro to Archery Club pre-season class. Equipment is available for students to borrow during the season. If using your own bow, it must be a Genesis Original bow. Tournament competition registration and tournament jersey purchase will be separate and al a carte style to match your archers needs. If your archer will be competing in tournaments, please make sure you purchase a tournament jersey. Register and purchase a tournament jersey before Jan. 1st to have before our first tournament. Register before December 1st, to receive your free practice shirt in the first order. A second practice shirt order will be placed at the end of December for those that register on or after 12/01. 4th-12th graders will be eligible for NASP tournament competition while 3rd graders will only be eligible for NASP Junior tournaments and Team participation in Juniors Tournaments is TBD if MN is hosting any Juniors tournaments. Please also keep in mind your child must attend school at Indy STEM Elementary, Big Lake Middle or Big Lake High School/Online to be eligible for tournament competition. The Art Club has returned! Art enthusiasts rejoice! If you are interested in the exciting world of visual art and would like a fun and safe space to create and share art with your friends, then you belong in the Art Club. Two Thursdays each month we meet in Mr. Kedrowski's classroom after school to visit and create art in a shared studio space. Everyone is welcome and free to work at their own pace in whichever way they see fit.

Blacklights? Check! Glow sticks? Check! Neon art supplies to light up the night? Check and check! This class is so much fun! Come create a colorful art project using special fluorescent art materials that really glow under blacklight. After we create, we'll turn up the music, turn on the blacklights and get the glow party started. Please pack a snack and drink for your child(ren).

Come outside and enjoy the season of fall with hikes, outdoor play, and exploration in nature. We will create projects using natural materials and learn woodworking basics such as hammering nails, sanding, and using a palm drill. We will be outside for the entire time so please dress accordingly.

Playtime and nesting will be followed by interactive discussions on nursing/bottle feeding, nutrition, sleep, safety, brain development and balancing your life as a parent. In this class you will learn the do's and don'ts of sourdough bread making. You will learn how to make your own sourdough bread, how to do the stretch-N-folds, shape and score the bread. You will get a couple recipes and your own starter so you can start making your own bread! Please bring: a medium size bowl and a wooden spoon. What's included: Bread flour, salt, spring water, jar and rubber band for starter, plastic bowl cover and parchment paper.

Back Again!! Our Big Lake High School Dance Team will teach a routine to elementary kids, then perform it during halftime at the Varsity home football game on Friday, Sept. 11th. Students will practice 2 times before this event (Tues/Thu. Sept. 8 & 10 from 4:30-5:30pm. A t-shirt will be provided - please list your student's size when registering. Please also have your student wear black leggings, tennis shoes and hair pulled back if possible. Dancers will remain in the stands with their parents until called down to gather for the performance a few minutes before the end of the 2nd quarter. Each Dancer will receive free admission to the game.
