BACK BY POPULAR DEMAND! Join us for the third season of Big Lake Archery Club! Archers come together to share in their love for archery in a fun, confidence building, and team focused environment taught by certified NASP BAI coaches. Kids of all skill levels are welcome and encouraged to join the team with newcomers to the sport needing to attend the Intro to Archery Club pre-season class. Equipment is available for students to borrow during the season. If using your own bow, it must be a Genesis Original bow. Tournament competition registration and tournament jersey purchase will be separate and al a carte style to match your archers needs. If your archer will be competing in tournaments or might potentially be interested in competing, please make sure you purchase a tournament jersey ASAP as there will only be one jersey order this season and you don't want to miss out! Register and purchase a tournament jersey before December 14th at 11:59pm to have before our first tournament. Register before December 1st, to receive your free practice shirt in the first order. A second practice shirt order will be placed at the end of December for those that register on or after 12/01. 4th-12th graders will be eligible for NASP tournament competition while 3rd graders will only be eligible for NASP Junior tournaments and Team participation in Juniors Tournaments, which is TBD and contingent on if MN is hosting any Juniors tournaments. Please also keep in mind your child must attend school at Indy STEM Elementary, Big Lake Middle, Big Lake High School/Online, or if be homeschooled and normally would attend one of the previously listed schools to be eligible for tournament competition. Team and individual pictures will be taken on Jan. 6th-7th with Lommel Photography at the Indy STEM Elementary cafeteria. Jan. 6th will be individual photos only from 6-7pm and you will be able to sign up for a photo time slot on our team BAND app. Jan. 7th we will all meet for our team photo (tournament team and whole team) from 6-6:30pm then individual photos will continue from 6:30-7:15pm. The Art Club has returned! Art enthusiasts rejoice! If you are interested in the exciting world of visual art and would like a fun and safe space to create and share art with your friends, then you belong in the Art Club. Two Thursdays each month we meet in Mr. Kedrowski's classroom after school to visit and create art in a shared studio space. Everyone is welcome and free to work at their own pace in whichever way they see fit.

Blacklights? Check! Glow sticks? Check! Neon art supplies to light up the night? Check and check! This class is so much fun! Come create a colorful art project using special fluorescent art materials that really glow under blacklight. After we create, we'll turn up the music, turn on the blacklights and get the glow party started. Please pack a snack and drink for your child(ren).

Come outside and enjoy the season of fall with hikes, outdoor play, and exploration in nature. We will create projects using natural materials and learn woodworking basics such as hammering nails, sanding, and using a palm drill. We will be outside for the entire time so please dress accordingly.

Come join the Boys Varsity Basketball team and staff for a fun, one night event on Friday, Nov. 13th! This will be an evening of fun basketball activities for all 1st-5th grade boys and girls. No need to have previous basketball experience, this is for all skill levels. In this class you will learn the do's and don'ts of sourdough bread making. You will learn how to make your own sourdough bread, how to do the stretch-N-folds, shape and score the bread. You will get a couple recipes and your own starter so you can start making your own bread! Please bring: a medium size bowl and a wooden spoon. What's included: Bread flour, salt, spring water, jar and rubber band for starter, plastic bowl cover and parchment paper.
