Gymnastics Advanced Approval Needed
This class serves those who are no longer a fit for the intermediate level class. This class is by instructor invitation only. Approval is needed to take this class, please contact CE Gymnastics email: cegymnastics@biglakeschools.org. If you have been pre-approved previously, please register online. NOTE: Please do not register for this course unless you have been PRE-APPROVED by a coach. Gymnastics Beginner | Ages 5-6
This class is for 5-6 year olds. You will practice gymnastics skills and terminology on all four events (vault, uneven bars, floor, and balance beam). In Big Lake Community Education we offer an age-based gymnastics program where we work hard to get to know your child and help them improve their gymnastics from whatever skill level they are currently at. Note: If a class is full, please still put your child on our waiting lists as class sizes are changed/added closer to the first class date. Gymnastics High School Off-Season Training Grades 7-12
** High School Off-Season Spring Training Grades 7-12 ** Please email: cegymnastics@biglakeschools.org to be invited on BAND app! We want a room full of hard working athletes every week. We also ask that if you are attending or classes that you, at a minimum, can go over the vault table without spot, go to the high bar without help, can complete a front tuck and round off back handspring on floor and are willing to participate in all events, drills and stations with a good attitude. Although much of the skill level in class is even above that, if you cannot or are not willing to do the things on that list you will not be able to effectively learn in the large and fast paced classes we host. "We do not have full commitments from coaches yet and anticipate adding more coaches to classes that do not have more than one coach listed yet. If your coach is with us in a class you will be excluded from eligibility for that class to maintain our MSHSL compliance." 2. "Waiting List/Cancellation Policy Details": If upon confirmation of your gymnasts enrollment in a class you decide it is not longer needed, and we have others on our waiting list, you will be charged a $7 cancellation fee less any practices your gymnast attended at $10/hr rate. In Addition...If we have had to turn someone away to allow your gymnast in and are not able to fill this spot you will not be refunded. -
Gymnastics Intermediate Ages 8+ years
This class is for children ages 8 and older. You will practice gymnastics skills and terminology on all four events (vault, uneven bars, floor, and balance beam). Gymnastics Parent/Child | 18 months-3 years
Work together with your child as you practice different activities such as walking on a beam, throwing rings, forward and backward rolls, wall walkers, jumps, bear crawls and so much more. Gymnastics Preschool | Ages 4-5 yrs.
This class is for independent child participation. The class will help with coordination and body awareness. Your child will go through many activities throughout the gym learning basic gymnastics skills. Children must be potty trained and a parent must remain for the duration of class. Note: If class is showing full when registering, please put your student on the waitlist as class sizes/additions change closer to the first class date.
