Art Club
The Art Club has returned! Art enthusiasts rejoice! If you are interested in the exciting world of visual art and would like a fun and safe space to create and share art with your friends, then you belong in the Art Club. Two Thursdays each month we meet in Mr. Kedrowski's classroom after school to visit and create art in a shared studio space. Everyone is welcome and free to work at their own pace in whichever way they see fit. -
Artsy Glow Party
Blacklights? Check! Glow sticks? Check! Neon art supplies to light up the night? Check and check! This class is so much fun! Come create a colorful art project using special fluorescent art materials that really glow under blacklight. After we create, we'll turn up the music, turn on the blacklights and get the glow party started. Please pack a snack and drink for your child(ren). -
Autumn Nature Explorers
Come outside and enjoy the season of fall with hikes, outdoor play, and exploration in nature. We will create projects using natural materials and learn woodworking basics such as hammering nails, sanding, and using a palm drill. We will be outside for the entire time so please dress accordingly. -
Candy Corn Catapults - STEM Engineering
READY, AIM, LAUNCH!! Step into the world of ballistics and structural engineering in this high-energy, hands-on workshop. In Candy Corn Catapults, students become "Siege Engineers" as they design, build, and calibrate their very own desktop launchers. The mission? To successfully navigate the physics of flight and land a "harvest" of candy corn into a series of bubbling cauldrons. It's a race against gravity and a test of architectural strength! -

Make your own winter gear in just one afternoon! This fast-paced, 2-hour workshop teaches middle schoolers the core foundation of crochet: the single crochet stitch. Using plush, bulky yarn, students will stitch a cozy, modern beanie and finish it off with a stylish faux-fur pom-pom. This class is perfect for absolute beginners who want to walk away with a completed, high-quality project. Experienced crocheters can learn a new stitch and make the same project! All materials provided. Learning Objectives:-Master the single crochet stitch and maintain consistent stitches. -Understand how to work in the round in the back loop to create a ribbed fabric texture. -Learn how to finish off the hat and securely attach a faux-fur embellishment. -

Dance Fusion: Ballet, Jazz, & Hip Hop

We will be creating a leaf mosaic inspired by Vincent Van Gogh's Mulberry Tree painting. We will explore air dry clay while creating a mosaic. We will be using beads to create a leaf. We will even give our clay mosaics a shiny finish at the end. -

Handprint Turkey Treasures (Parent/Child Class)
Celebrate Thanksgiving with a heartwarming art experience! Create a Handprint Turkey Treasure using your child's handprint as the centerpiece. Grown-ups join the messy fun while little artists explore paint and texture. More than a craft, this sweet keepsake becomes a holiday memory to cherish year after year. Children must be accompanied by a caregiver. -
Horse Camp Ages 2-5 yrs.
Campers will get to ride a real horse in an arena, meet a number of our different horses at Boulder Pointe and learn about how to groom the horses...all with a focus on safety! In addition, students will do an art project and have an opportunity to make horse treats to feed their new friends. Stations are split into 15 minute intervals to keep everyone engaged. Parents have the opportunity to lead their child on the horse and take photographs as they go. :) PARENT/GUARDIAN: This 2-hour camp is designed for parent/guardian participation. Parent/Guardian is expected to remain with their child during the entire duration of the camp. WEATHER: Camps are held rain or shine, as we have an indoor barn and arena. Horse Camp Ages 6-15 yrs.
Kids will learn what it's like to have a horse for a day! Campers get to ride in the indoor and/or outdoor arenas for 40min-50min (no trails), practice how to steer, stop, turn, and walk on their own. They also might make horse treats, do a craft, and play games. And don't forget the time to meet and care for the horses, which is a big part of ownership! Campers are broken into smaller groups based on similar riding experience and age, which is perfect for both new and more experienced riders! PARENT Drop-off is at 9am and PARENT pickup is 3pm. Sorry we do not allow parents to stay for the day. Instructors: Boulder Pointe Staff WHAT DO CAMPERS NEED TO BRING? ● Long pants, closed toe shoes, appropriate clothes for weather inside and outside of barn. ● No flip flops. ● Sunscreen/hat/bug spray ● Water bottle/drinks/snacks and a lunch ● Treats for the horses if you want ● Helmets are provided.
