This 4-day summer camp will introduce young athletes to the world of Track and Field! Students will learn proper warm-up and stretches, running technique, breathing, and participate in various track and field events (short sprints, longer paced runs, vertical and horizontal jumps, and throws). Track and Field athletes will also engage in some outdoor games that focus on speed, endurance, technique, and teamwork! Wear comfortable clothing, tennis shoes and bring a water bottle. Your 2 or 3 year old is experiencing new milestones and developing new skills every day. You and your child will meet new friends while enjoying fun activities and circle time. After circle time, parents will meet in the parent ed room for discussion and focus on the wonders and challenges of navigating the bridge between the toddler and preschool years, while children remain in the classroom with the early childhood teacher. Young artists will craft trendy, internet-inspired art projects, including sculpting their very own Labubu and learning how to draw a portrait based on the characters from KPop Demon Hunters. But that's not all - they will also mix up a batch of Cinnamonroll slime! Perfect for young artists to express themselves, learn new skills, and create fridge worthy masterpieces! Turtle Level 1 will focus on water exploration with learning how to float, blow bubbles, push off of the wall, kicking, and small distance forward motion. Swimmers will learn personal water safety along with basic swim competency. Swim Levels are more about skill rather than age. This class will build upon the first Turtle 1 allowing swimmers to swim and kick longer distances, submerge under the water to pick up a ring from the bottom of the pool, and jump in from the side. Dive into an Under the Sea Dance & Craft camp full of movement, music, and ocean fun! Dancers will explore sea-themed movements, learn a playful ocean dance, and create a fun under-the sea craft to take home. This special one-evening camp is perfect for wiggly bodies and creative minds. No dance experience needed - just come ready to splash and move!

NEW! This program is designed for athletes with previous volleyball experience through a JO club or school program. Players receive high rep skill development, position specific drills, and competitive game play. With 2+ experienced coaches per session, the program focuses on improving game IQ, court awareness, and overall performance in a structured, challenging environment. Please note this course is not for new volleyball players and is open to Big Lake and surrounding area players to register! The first week will include player assessments to ensure the program is good fit, to gauge where they are currently at skillswise and set goals for the summer. Players are also encouraged to register for the Summer Hornet Sports Performance training session from 9-10:15am on M/T/Th during the summertime. The ZEBCO School of Fish is a 2 1/2-hour kids fishing class open to kids (and adults!) taught by pro angler and fishing Fishing the Midwest TV show host Mike Frisch. Students learn about lakes, finding fish in those lakes, and some great ways to catch them. They also learn to tie a fishing knot and rig and use a slip-bobber setup. Join this introductory Spanish class for children. In this class, students learn Spanish the same way they learned their first language—through songs, games, movement, stories, and hands-on activities. Children will build confidence as they practice basic vocabulary and simple phrases related to everyday topics like colors, animals, food, numbers, and greetings.
